Hotel Quite Acceptable Amsterdam Rising

12.14

Hotel Quite Acceptable, Amsterdam.

Rising at 06.00 for a leisurely breakfast buffet. New reading: Jacob Needleman's Lost Christianity (1980). It has a Strand (NYC bookshop) ticket on it: November 1984 $3.00 and has been on my shelves for several years, waiting for the right time. This is the right time.

Galen, tour manager & second guitarist, has arrived at the hotel with my practice guitar. The full Satch Team are arriving around about now. Saunerised & onto computing.

13.50 Joe, Rubina & ZZ Satch are having lunch. I met Mick Brigden, Joe's manager, getting into the elevator as I was getting out. Mr .Drummer is off to the rehearsal space to check a new set of drums. I am about to open a guitar case.

22.00 Practising practising. I am a way from what is required of the third G in the G3 jam.
